While a lot of campgrounds and camping spots have ground that is level, not all of them do.  If you are having doubts about being able to sleep on the ground, then it is well advised to bring along a nice air mattress or a sleeping pad so that you can get some adequate rest.  Most generally it doesn’t cost a lot to buy these items, so it’s worth it to do so.

It might be a really good idea to bring along a backpack as well as just in case you want to do a little hiking. There are a lot of different styles and sizes of backpacks, and depending on what you’re going to use it for, will determine the style that you need.
